Some say she is the lovechild of two doomed souls, while others believe she is the tragic result of two clashing cultures.

What is known is that her mother was a gypsy fortune-teller who roamed Western Europe and the Baltic, acting as intermediary between the living and the dead. Her father was of Hispanic decent – a man who dabbled dangerously in Santeria and the Black Arts. How and when their paths crossed is unknown, but their legacy is unmistakable.
