As the Greek legend is told, the beautiful sea goddess Calypso was imprisoned on a lonely island
for a very long time. She would step out to the edge of the shore
daily, never seeing anything new - until one day, she rescued a strong
man named Odysseus
from a shipwreck. Calypso, being the hypnotic woman she is, compelled
him to stay on her island for seven long years. However, she grew
tired of him after a time and set her mind to escaping the island.
She was successful in her endeavor, but was still filled
with rage after being left in solitude for so long. She washed up on
the shores of the Gulf of Mexico
after what seemed to be an eternity, and caught the first chariot-like
vehicle she could find that went north. She soon found herself in the
glittering metropolis of Dallas, where she found her true calling:
getting vengeance for her many years of imprisonment by strapping magic
wheeled shoes on her feet, and flying at others with the force of
crashing waves. She found a home with the other gorgeous yet deadly
sirens of Assassination City, and there's one thing that's for sure -
when you get taken out by Calypso Crash on the track, you'll feel like
you've been knocked all the way back to 700 B.C.
